Roof

The SIP panels come with a finished ceiling on the inner side.  We got knotty pine tongue and groove for the great-room and kitchen area, and drywall over the loft and bedrooms.

For the roof, we went with Eagle Panels brand SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) panels. These are way superior to regular insulation.  Having lived in the home now for over 5 years, I can honestly say – between the SIP panel roof and the argon gas filled windows, it is the smartest money we spent.
